After breakfast day excursion of Mirik Lake (Horse riding & Boating facilities is available around the lake) - This high altitude lake is worth visiting. One can also visit Pashupati Market in Nepal on the way back to Darjeeling. Evening free to roam around the Hotel / Resort / Mall or the Local market area. Overnight at hotel
Early morning start for Tiger Hill (subject to availability of pass) to watch the spectacular sunrise and its amazing effects on the Mt. Kanchendzonga (Worlds 3rd highest peak), Visit Ghoom Monastery and Batashia Loop War Memorial while returning to the Hotel. After breakfast followed by Half day mixed point local sightseeing covering RopeWay, Tenzing rock, Gombu Rock, Padmaja N. Zoological Garden, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tibetan Refugee Self-help Center and Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda. After that visit to the Mall (Chowrasta) along with local Market for City Life. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast transfer to Gangtok. On Arrival check in at the hotel. Later proceed for half day sightseeing in Gangtok visiting Flower Show, Handicraft, Institute of Tibetology, Do Drul Chorten, and Bakthang Falls. Overnight at the hotel.
Excursion to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir . Overnight Stay.
Breakfast at the hotel and full day excursion to Changu Lake which is 35 Kms from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 feet. The lake derives its waters from melting snows off the surrounding mountains Legends say that lamas could forecast the future by studying the color of the lake’s waters. Also visit New Baba Mandir. Back to hotel & overnight.
