Afternoon after lunch visit Kamakhya temple - Situated atop the Nilachal Hills, the foremost shrine of Assam, Kamakhya is an ancient seat of Tantrik and Shakti cults of Hinduism - The temple offers grandstand views of the river Brahmaputra and its surroundings - The reigning deity here is Goddess Parvati (Sati).
Evening we will do Sunset dinner Cruise on the Brahmaputra River starts at 4.30 PM. (Cost given as optional)

Cherrapunjee, officially known as Sohra, is a renowned town in Meghalaya, India. Famous as one of the wettest places on Earth, it features a lush, mountainous landscape 4,690 feet above sea level. The town is celebrated for spectacular waterfalls, limestone caves, and ancient living root bridges.

• Mawphlang Sacred Forest
(One of the most famous sacred forests is the Mawphlang Sacred Forest, about 25 kilometres from Shillong. The sacred grove has an amazing life form of plants, flowering trees, orchids and butterflies).
Also en – route have lunch & visit Elephant Falls. Later drive to Cherrapunjee en – route stopover at Mawkdok view point. Arrive Cherrapunje and visit Garden of Caves, Nohkalikai Waterfalls.
Reach hotel in the evening & have sumptuous dinner at the hotel.
Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.

Early morning take the 5.30 AM OR 6.30 AM Elephant safari at the Bagori Range (for Indians) of Kaziranga National Park.
ELEPHANT SAFARI TIMINGS:
Bagori Zone of the park at 05.30 AM and OR 06.30 AM for 40 minutes respectively.

Return to hotel for breakfast. Afternoon after lunch enjoy a thrilling Jeep Safari inside the park. Overnight at Kaziranga.
JEEP SAFARI TIMINGS: Afternoon Safari starts from 01.30 PM till 03:30 PM for 02 hours. (The timings may differ by half an hour due day light saving).

After breakfast drive to Barapani or Umiam Lake en-route visit Mahamrityunjai temple- dedicated to Hindu god Shiva, is the World’s Largest Shivalinga at the height of 126 ft. Drive further to Umiam and transfer to your hotel. Later explore the Umiam Lake or locally known as Barapani, surrounded by sylvan hills and wrapped in the beauty of an assortment of green Khasi-pines and the azure blue skies.
Indulge yourself in a speed boat ride available for tourist and run by the Meghalaya Tourism department. (On direct payment basis). Overnight stay at your hotel.

After breakfast will drive to the Grand Canyons of Laitlum, a delighting place which will mesmerize you. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the lush green hills and a sprawling meadow, its steep winding stairways that bend their way deep downhill leading to a small village. Laitlum is not crowded like other tourist destinations. It is a beautiful and unique valley with a pleasant hilly weather. Spend your time with the nature and rejuvenate yourself. Then drive to Shillong Peak (If Permitted by Air Force) which is situated at the height of 6449 sq. ft. and 1965m above sea level and Shillong City gets recognition from the peak itself. A telescope is also installed at the top of the peak building where you can have the Bird’s Eye View from one corner to another corner of Shillong. Later visit Don Bosco ethnological museum where one can have an idea about ethnological diversity of north-eastern states of India. Overnight stay at Shillong.
After breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee en-route visit to Elephant Falls & Mawkdok View Point.

In Sohra, we will visit the Arwah Caves, Garden of Caves, NohKaLikai Falls, Mawsmai Caves, Kynrem Falls, Seven Sisters’ waterfalls (one of the longest in India), (There may be less volume of water in the waterfalls from Oct to Mar due to scanty rainfall). Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee

After breakfast we will drive first to Mawlynnong.
Mawlynnong - cleanest village in Asia. Arrive Mawlynnong and having a walking tour of the village. Visit the Single Decker living Root Bridge inside the jungle, visit and enjoy the locally made watch tower made up of bamboos. This watch tower gives you 360 degree view of the surrounding area.
Dawki which is the International border between India and Bangladesh. We will visit the crystal clear Umgnot River where you can try the boat ride (on direct payment basis). Visit Indo- Bangladesh Friendship border (Tamabil).
Drive ahead to Shillong and check-in at hotel. Overnight at Shillong hotel.
