Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

Day 1: Madrid

Welcome to the capital city Madrid, upon arrival at the airport, we will be waiting for you for the transfer to the hotel. Check in to the hotel and after sometime attend the welcome meeting with your guide and fellow travelers, towards the end of the day, we provide a transfer to Plaza Mayor and La Latina: Madrid´s most famous area for night life and tapas restaurants where you can dine at your preferred restaurant: Indian, Chinese, Spanish and Middle Eastern are some of the options available. Overnight stay at Madrid.

Day 2: Madrid City Tour

The morning starts with a comprehensive tour through the center of Madrid, including the Paseo del Prado, Cibeles, Neptuno, the Gate of Alcalá, Plaza de Colón and Plaza Mayor. Then we will visit Retiro Park, an oasis in the city center, where we will see the lake and the Glass Palace. Entrance included to the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, the football stadium of Real Madrid, for many, the best club in the world. Enjoy the rest of the afternoon at your own leisure. At the end of the evening, we will return to the hotel.

Day 3 Madrid Saragossa Poblet Barcelona

In the morning we leave for Aragón through the lands of Castile. In ZARAGOZA we make a brief stop to see the Pilar Basilica. We continue to the Monastery of Poblet, surrounded by its walls in a beautiful site that is one of the best-preserved medieval monasteries in the world (entrance included). Following this we will continue to BARCELONA, arriving in the evening.

Day 4 Barcelona tour

In the morning we include a city tour of Barcelona, considered one of the most interesting European capitals, open to the Mediterranean Sea, famous for Gaudí and its modernist architecture, also for the ramblas and the memories of the Universal Exhibitions and Olympics that took place there. Free time in the afternoon. In the evening we include a transfer to the Maremagnum, a modern leisure center and restaurants facing the sea, next to Plaza Colón, where you can stroll through this lively area and dine.

Day 5 Barcelona Paris

At the time scheduled by your guide we will include a transfer to the station to take the Barcelona/ Paris high-speed train included in your trip. In just over 6 hours you will reach your destination on the comfortable train. Upon arrival at the destination, we will provide a new transfer to the hotel. Your guide will contact you in the evening or you can consult the information placed at the reception of your hotel.

Day 6 Paris tour

We come into contact with the history of France in the immense Palace of Versailles (admission not included) with its beautiful gardens. After that, on our way back to Paris, we head to Montmartre, and take a cable car (included) to go up to this bohemian neighborhood known for its painters, artists and cabarets. To contemplate the beauty of the impressive avenues and monuments of Paris, you will have the city tour with a local guide. Return to the hotel. Optionally you can attend the variety show.

Day 7 Paris tour to Eiffel tower

We go to the center of Paris, starting by the Eiffel Tower area. You will have the opportunity to go up to the second floor of this remarkable metal monument (ticket included). Then we enjoy a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides the north of Paris from the south. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore as you choose.Note: in some cases the waits to go up the Eiffel Tower are long. Thus, the climb may take place at a different time (or on Sunday), if it is considered convenient for organizational reasons.

Day 8 Paris Burgundy Beaune Lyon

Today we travel to the center of France, to the Bourgogne region, famous for its wines. We will visit BEAUNE, located in the center of the Bourgogne region, with its streets full of flowers, hospice and wine museum all points of interest. Continuing on, we will arrive to LYON in the afternoon, the capital of Roman Gallia on the banks of the Rhône (its historic center has been declared a World Heritage site). We include a cable car climb to Notre Dame de Fourvière, where we have a great view of the city. Enjoy some leisure time to walk around.

Day 9 Lyon Geneva Zurich

A beautiful stage awaits us as we set off for Switzerland. Arrival in GENEVA. The guide will take us to the Palais des Nations (the European headquarters of the United Nations), the beautiful “Jardin Anglais” (with its quaint flower clock), and the “Jet d´Eau”, the tallest fountain in Europe.After lunch, we will continue travelling through Switzerland by the beautiful Leman and Neuchatel lakes. We will drive the scenic road alongside the three large lakes, with their magnificent vineyards overlooking the mountains. We will stop in NEUCHATEL, where you can enjoy a walk by the lake, the historic town center or visit its beautiful, 10th century castle. We will then head to ZURICH. Arrival in the late afternoon.Note: depending on the number of passengers travelling from Geneva to Zürich, this part of the trip might be done by train - in which case, there will be no stop in Neuchatel.

Day 10 Zurich tour

With our guide, we will have a tour of ZURICH, the most populated city of Switzerland, and the country’s financial and cultural capital. The city of the banks has twice been declared the city with the best quality of life in the world. Afterwards, we will include a cruise of almost two hours on Lake Zurich. The boat makes brief stops to allow us to see the villages on the way. We get off in RAPPERSWIL, a picturesque little village overlooked by its mediaeval castle. We go back to Zurich by train and appreciate the efficiency and punctuality of the Swiss railways. Note: Depending on the number of travelers, the transfers to and from the center might be carried out by public transport.

Day 11 Zurich Lucerne Zurich

Today´s journey has beautiful landscapes with high mountains and lakes. Breathtaking scenery in the region of Interlaken. We will stop in GRINDELWALD where we will have time for a coffee before taking the cable car up to mountain. We will walk along the winding path which will lead us to the suspended bridge. Dare to walk across the bridge amongst the fantastic scenery enjoying glaciers all around us. We will have lunch up in the mountain (included) before heading back down. We continue to LUCERNE, one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland. In the evening we have time to stroll around enjoying the city. Return to ZURICH and free time in the city before going to the hotel. Note: The guide will offer you the possibility of a full day optional visit, leaving in the morning and, after some free time to discover Lucerne, we take a rotating cable car to reach the top of Mount Titlis. At the alpine summit, at over 3000m above sea level, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the glacier and the Alps.

Day 12 Zurich

After having the breakfast, our representative will drop you off to the Airport for your departure with bag full of memories.
